Should I have received a document to use when filing taxes if I transferred my trad IRA from one company to another (trustee to trustee) and did not take any money out?

Both accounts were a traditional IRA (not Roth).

You won't receive a Form 1099-R for a trustee to trustee transfer from one IRA to another.  It's not considered a distribution and you don't have to report it on your tax return.

You would have received a Form 1099-R with ‌distribution code G, if you had a trustee to trustee rollover from an employer qualified plan to an IRA.
