Should I file taxes if I am 75 years old. Never worked, a widow & I receive Social Security from my husbands contributions.

If the Social Security benefits are your Only income to be reported on a tax return and you do Not have federal income taxes withheld from the benefits, then there is no need to file a tax return.

do you have other income besides social security such as dividends, interest, pension?
