Roth Conversion and paying taxes out of the rollover

In 2024 I converted $65,000 to a Roth IRA but paid taxes out of the rollover totaling $14,300. Would the amount I rolled over be considered $65,000 or $50,700 on my taxes? This is for the Turbo Tax question "amount converted to a Roth IRA account"?

The amount you rolled over is the amount that actually ended up in the ROTH IRA.  If you didn't replace the 14,300 withholding with your own money into the ROTH then the amount you rolled over would be 50,700.

Either way the whole $65,000 will be taxable on line 4b.  Unless you had any non deductible contributions in the IRA.
