RMD Taken in March 2025

I turned 73 last year and just took my final RMD to satisfy my 2024 requirements. Do I report this on my 2024 return along with the tax withholding even if I do not have a 1099 from my financial institution for this one distribution?

Thanks!

You have until April 1 to take your first RMD.   If you took it now in 2025 it doesn't go on your 2024 return.  Skip the 1099R questions.  But remember you still will need to take your 2025 RMD by Dec 31, 2025.  So you will have 2 RMDs to report next year on your 2025 tax return.
