My federal return was kicked back because "Virus SARS-CoV-2" is listed on Line C of the 8915-F. The instructions state that line C should not be used for Coronavirus. Instead, line D should be checked.
I cannot seem to remove Virus SARS-CoV-2 from line C, even after reviewing the section, unchecking the "Coronavirus related distribution" checkbox, and manually selecting the blank option in the "Type of Disaster" dropdown on the next screen.
Is this a bug in the current release? I've reviewed my 2021 8915-F, also prepared with TurboTax, and it lists Virus SARS-CoV-2 on Line C while also having Line D checked, but apparently they weren't rejecting the returns because of this last year.
I was able to remove coronovirus that was listed in line C by unchecking box and then it gave me the list of disasters and i just chose a random one listed and clicked continue. Then i went i clicked the back button and chose the empty field at the top and clicked continue and then i went back and checked the box in line D. I then reviewed my return and it line C was blank.
