removed money from 401K investment and returned a portion of it within 30 days

in 2020 removed 20,000 from 401 k investment at Merill Lynch.  I received a 1099R showing that.  In less than than 30 days 10,000 was returned to this account.  Where do I show the return of the 10,000 in my turbo tax preparation?  judy and steve myers

When you enter your form 1099-R in TurboTax, you will see a question about what you did with the distribution you received. You will have the option of saying you rolled part of it over to another retirement account and for how much. That will make a portion of the distribution not taxable.
