Recieved 2021 income in 2022 but it is reported on the 1099 for 2021. I use cash method. I know there is a way to report it, then credit it back, but can't remember!

You received an incorrect 1099 for 2021 then you should try to have the person who paid you correct the 1099.

If you can't get it corrected then you can adjust your income by entering a corrected amount on your return with the income not received and attach an explanatory note to your return for the difference between the 1099 income and what was reported.  You will have to paper file the return.

It's a lot of hassle so be sure that the amount that you are pushing off to next year makes it worth it.
