Received a 1099-G because my husband received Paid Medical Leave while he was out of work recovering from a medical emergency. It's showing up as "Unemployment". Advice?

Wondering if there's a different way to input it so it's listed as Medical Leave instead of unemployment. Getting hit with unemployment tax, but he was not unemployed, and we had taxes taken out of the medical leave all along the way. Thanks for any advice!

Yes, unfortunately, Paid Medical leave is taxable income and treated as if it similar to unemployment income, subject to the same income tax rate.
