Re the "Tell us a bit about you and your taxes" page. TurboTax won't let me proceed until I select at least one option, but none apply? How can I proceed?

I'm self-employed/an independent contractor,

I'm a freelancer/gig-worker, and

I own a business/S-corp, Partnership, or Multi-member LLC.

None of these things apply. But, if I try to select "continue" without any tiles selected, I get the error, "!Please select a tile to continue" and TurboTax won't let me proceed. What should I do?

What are you going to enter on the tax return?

The simplest option is just select W-2 and continue. You will not have to enter a W-2 if you do not have one to enter, this will just get you to the TurboTax Free edition so you can start your tax return and enter some type of income.

Select "I want to maximize deductions and credits"

It really doesn't matter what you pick, although the program will continue to ask about forms relating to what you indicate.
