On my 1099-R, I have Code 8 in Box 7. Where does my taxable income (Box 2A on 1099-R) go on Form 1040?

Enter a 1099-R here:

Federal Taxes,
Wages & Income
(I'll choose what I work on - if that screen comes up)
Retirement Plans & Social Security,
IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R).

OR  Use the "Tools" menu (if online version left side) and then "Search Topics" for "1099-R" which will take you to the same place.

Be sure to choose which spouse the 1099-R is for if this is a joint tax return.
Be sure to pick the correct 1099-R type: Standard 1099-R, CSA-1099-R, CSF-1099-R, RRB-1099-R.

[NOTE: When you get to the "Your 1099-R Entries" screen where you can add another 1099-R, use "continue" to keep going as there are additional interview questions after that screen in most cases. You can always return as shown above.]

Thanks! but it is not the answer to my question. It is only telling me where to enter my 1099-R. I already filled my 1099-R but the problem is that Turbo Tax is transferring this 1099-R  taxable income to Box 7 (Wages) of 1040 and not Box 16. Is Turbo tax doing it correctly?

Correct.  A code 8 is a return of excess contribution that was deducted from your W-2 box 1 wages when contributed, so when returned it gets reported as wages on the 1040 line 7, not as a retirement plan distribution.

Line 7 is where the income would have been reported had the contribution never been made so returning it is the same as not making the contribution in the first place.

Line 7 is correct.
