My school issues me a 1099Misc as part of the NIH funded Medical Student program. I am not subject to SE taxes. How do I enter this in TT without it asking me for a code?

It is not a fellowship or considered educational credit. I am in the Medical Scientist Training Program. Last year it reflected at other income. This year TT is not pushing through State tax well, and not letting federal push without a line 3 business code (there is none).

In order to have the income treated like Other Income as opposed to Self-Employment income, you would have to indicate that the work was not associated with your main job, that it wasn't carried on primarily to earn money, and that it only applied to 2020 as per the following in TurboTax:

Otherwise, the income is likely to to be considered self-employment income by the IRS and subject to self-employment tax.
