My Michigan state return is being held up because I have not filled out a pension deduction worksheet. I don't have a pension! I have no idea why this prompt shows up.

Did you enter a Form 1099-R in your Federal return for a retirement distribution?

If so, this may be prompting the Michigan Form 4884, Pension Schedule.  Go back to your 1099-R entry in your Federal return and check your entries.

If not, you can Delete Form 4884 from your return.

1. Sign in to TurboTax and open your return by selecting Continue or Pick up where you left off.
2. In the left menu, select Tax Tools and then Tools.
3. In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
4. Select Delete next to the form, schedule, and worksheet in the list and follow the instructions.
