My income is below $63,000, but I can't get the earned income tax credit. I got it last year. What am I missing?

What is your filing status and how many children are you claiming as dependents?

Married filing jointly. 1 child. Same as last year. 

In your post above you mention that your income is "below $63,000. "    If you are married filing jointly with one child, you are not eligible for EIC if your income is above $53,120.
