My husband received Social Security benefits through 2021. We did not receive a SSA_1099 form, how do I report this?

Yes, you need Form SSA-1099 since it will show how much benefits were paid to you during the year. 

 

Form SSA-1099 is mailed each year in January and shows the total amount of benefits you received from Social Security since you need to report Social Security income to the IRS on your tax return.
