My CSA1099R from OPM shows in block 2a UNKNOWN. There used to be an alternate formula to find an amount. I can't find that info in the 2023 Turbotax.

If you enter the CSA 1099R correctly, there are follow up questions after entering that determine the taxable portion of your annuity. You do not need to make that calculation on your own.
