My 1099-B has $0 in boxes 8, 9 10, and 11. When I imported my forms, detailed transactions are loaded and show as gains / losses. Do I need to include these?

It depends. As long as all of your transactions loaded into TurboTax with all your sales or redemptions, there is nothing to add for boxes 8, 9, 10 or 11 if there is  nothing in those boxes.

You can check your Schedule D and/or Form 8949 if you view the forms before you file. From the left rail menu in TurboTax Online, select Tax Tools (You may have to scroll down on the left rail menu.)

  1. Select Tax Tools
  2. On the drop-down select Tools
  3. On the pop-up menu titled “Tools Center”, select View Tax Summary
  4. On the left sidebar, select Preview my 1040

For TurboTax Desktop, change to 'Forms' and review the forms
