May an ER (Employer) contribute to an (EE) Employee's IRA in addition to the Employee's contribution for 2018?

and what is the total (ER and EE combined) dollar limit for a 2018 contribution  for an EE (Employee) who is single?

If this is just a regular personal IRA, not an account associated with a SEP or SIMPLE IRA plan of the employer, anything that the employer puts into your IRA must be reported as income in box 1 of your W-2 and treated as a contribution to the IRA by you.
