line 2b taxable interest total doesn't match 1099-INT

After importing all of our brokerage account 1099 DIVs and 1099 INTs  the  Form 1040 line 2b  (taxable interest) total vastly exceeds the total of my 1099 INTs. I do not believe there is any other interest that should be included inin this amount. What could I be missing? The import seems to accurately reflect the forms.

It should reflect the total of all 1099-INT...but be sure you add together both the box 1 and box 3 values.

The only other thing I could think of is that you have some other $$$ coming in form a 1099-OID form too.

Or...did you get and report some forms K-1 too?

IF that doesn't describe the difference, then Edit each and every 1099-INT (and -OID or K-1's too if they exist) and check every box again.   Sometimes if you accidentally hit a comma before the cents, the value turns into tens or hundreds of thousands right after you leave the box.

Or...entirely delete one of your 1099-INT forms, one-at-a-time, and re-enter/type them manually.  Do not upload from a Picture or PDF.....don't import...enter them manually with the form sitting in front of you.
