Is there a way to get the "Payer Federal Identification number" required to file a 1099-G without having a copy of the form? The online 1099-g for alabama doesnt list it.

If this is for a state refund, you don't need it.

Don't enter it as a 1099-G, enter it as a state refund.

Sign into your account, return and click "Pick up where I left off"

Click Federal

Click Wages & Income

Click Show All Income if needed

Scroll down to Other Common Income and Click Show more

Scroll down to Refunds Received for State/Local Tax Returns and click Start

The states are listed in a drop-down list.
