Is there a deadline to receive 1099R?

They usually are available by end of January but it is sometimes later before they are available for importing into tax software.  If you are in a hurry --- see if your statements are on the plan's website and key it in by hand if it is not yet formatted for importing.

.........and if it normally comes in the mail...it might be the end of the first full week in February before it wends its way thru the Postal Service.
