Is RMD "retirement income"? Previous response didn't answer this question, but thanks anyway.

Of course it is.  A RMD is no different that any other distribution form a retirement account - only that it is required.

Are you asking because when you entered your pension it asked if you took the RMD?
If you are 70 1/2 it will ask you if it is the RMD.  Say yes.  Anything your pension pays you is considered to be the  RMD.

RMD stands for Required Minimum Distribution
