Is it a glitch in my TurboTax copy that I'm told I can fill out the 1099R section yet because it is still being prepared by the IRS. Anyone else run into this problem?

I meant can't fill out the 1099R section

I don't know why you are receiving that message.  The 1099-R sections is, and has been, fully functional.  If you have started your 1099-R entries, try deleting them and re-entering.  If it continues, I suggest you contact customer service.  To do so, start by clicking Contact Us - TurboTax.  Starting here will help to ensure that your call is properly routed.

Are you using the Desktop program?  Have you updated your program?  Go up to Online-Check for Updates.  Or for Mac reboot your computer.
