Is an IRA distribution (1099-R) taxable by the state of Ohio?

I inherited a parent's IRA in 2018, which will be reported on my federal tax return.  Parent (and parent's IRA bank) were in Ohio.  I live in a different state with no state income tax.  Do I need to file an Ohio tax return for this distribution?

It would be taxable by your resident state only --and due to no income tax there, it is not taxable by the State.

No Ohio taxes need to be paid by you or an Ohio return needing to be filed for this 1099R.

Sorry for your loss.
