IRA withdrawal and the question where is your distribution from?

I am 63 and retired.  I had a pension plan through my job at a financial institution which I closed out and rolled over to an IRA and receive monthly payments.  I'm not sure what I am supposed to pick for the question "Where is your distribution from?".  Should it be "none of the above"?

The question is only asking what type of IRA you have that sent you the distribution.  There are 5 choices.

When you transferred the funds from the 401(k) to the IRA you should know the type of IRA you set up with the IRA plan administrator.

It was a traditional IRA.

Then select Traditional IRA and then select Not subject to an early withdrawal penalty and Continue.

NYS is asking "Where is your distribution from?".  Chose from below:

Retirement distributions from:

  •      US Government (including military)
  •      NYS and City education
  •      Certain public authorities
  •      NYC Variable Supplmental Funds
  •      Certain Annuity funds
  •      Other pensions of NYS and Local Government
  •

Retirement distributions from:

  •      NYS and City education
  •      IRA rolled over from a former government pension

Not eligible for exclusion for those over age 59 1/2

None of the Above (select for deferred compensation 457 plans)

So this is for the state return.  Select None of the Above.
