Inherited IRA

If I didn't take a distribution from an IRA inherited in 2021, do I list it on my 2021 return?

There was no 1099-R for the inherited IRA. It is a non-spousal inherited IRA. My question about listing concerns the TurboTax question "Value of your Traditional, SEP, and  SIMPLE IRAs on December 31." Is the inherited IRA value included in this amount?

No.   That is the total of all IRA's owned by you.   A non-spouse inherited IRA must remain in the name of the deceased.

Did you receive a Form 1099-R? If so, you must include the amount. There are different rules for spouses vs non-spouses regarding inherited IRAs.

did you inherit in 2021 ?

or miss a distribution in 2021?

If you inherited 2020 or later there is no RMD on an inherited IRA.
