In the Early Roth IRA withdrawal questions, Turbotax goes from asking about Spouse A's Roth IRA (with a 1099-B) to asking about Spouse B's Roth IRA (without a 1099-B)

For context, Spouse A had an early withdrawal from a Roth IRA in 2021.  Spouse B did not.

Here are the back to back windows:
"Withdraw from SpouseA's Roth IRA Before 2021?"-- Yes
"Enter Prior Year Roth IRA Contributions Report SpouseB's net regular contributions prior to 2021"

I'm going to treat this like the display bug I think it is, and enter SpouseA's net regular contributions prior to 2021.

If you are referring to the questions during the contribution interview then please be aware that the question is asking about PRIOR to 2021, not in 2021.

I cannot recreate the issue, you might want to delete and reenter the information.

Please be aware, you get Form 1099-R for a distribution from a retirement account. Form 1099-B is for the sale of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other securities. Please see Where do I enter a 1099-B?

To enter Form 1099-R for a retirement distribution please follow these steps:

  1. Click on "Search" on the top right and type “1099-R”
  2. Click on “Jump to 1099-R”
