In addition to social security I received $600 from a retirement community for music program . How do I report that?

Sounds like that is self employment income?  Did they give you a 1099NEC or 1099Misc?

Let's first think about whether this could be considered  self-employment (an ongoing trade or business that you do with a profit motive) or it should be considered a hobby.
