If you settle your child support as a lump sum (in the separation agrmnt)

What is your question?  It still does not go on your tax return.   Child Support is not deductible or reported as income.

Child support is never taxable to the recipient or deductible to the payer.

 

Likewise, distribution of assets in a divorce is not taxable or deductible.
