If you live in florida where no income tax is required can you be refunded previously withheld taxes such as federal and social security?

If I do not have to pay an income tax how can I be refunded for taxes withheld.

Florida has no state income tax, but that has no effect on your Federal income tax at all. Whether you get a refund of Federal income tax has nothing to do with which state you live in. The state and federal tax systems are totally independent. Social Security and Medicare taxes are NEVER deducible. You will get the benefit of them when you retire.
