If the wrong code was put on 1099R I’m disabled should be at three instead of a one. How do I change that?

The distribution code should be a three because I’m disabled. Can I file by just putting a three in instead of the one?

No, you cannot change the code in box 7 of the Form 1099-R. If the code in box 7 is incorrect then you need to contact the Payer and get a corrected Form 1099-R.
