If my wife's only income is Social Security, can we claim two person income in MD?

No, Social Security income is not taxed in Maryland and therefore would not show up as taxable income for your spouse. 

 

Therefore, unless she had other income, you would not be able to use her income for purposes of the two-income families tax break.
