If I reported Social Security income last tax year (2021)...do I still click on the "Received Social Security" button under the financial changes screen?

If you are referring to the questions at the very beginning to help determine what form you will need, then yes. Even if you omit information there, you can still enter it later. This is just a guide.

I’m assuming you’re asking this question because you did not have Social Security income in 2022. If this is the case, you can definitely leave that unchecked, and that should be the end of the matter. The program is actually just clarifying which topics it’s going to bring up along the way, and regardless of how you answer you can always still fix it later. (There’s a chance it could still eventually ask for a Social Security amount, but you can tell it there was none at that point…)
