If I received dividends from ESOP stock in my 401k, does that count as receiving retirement income? I have a 1099-R.

I have the option in my 401k account of receiving the dividends or reinvesting. I have been receiving the dividends quarterly for the last couple of years. When TurboTax asks me this question ("Did you receive any retirement income for 2017?"), I answered "yes," but should I have? I know I have to fill in the 1099-R, but is this where I do it?

If this is being asked in the Wage & Income section, answer Yes.  TurboTax is really asking if you received any Forms 1099-R.
