If I need to change an answer and use "edit", it won't save my change. E.g. I said yes on a retirement contribution question when I meant to say no.

It takes me to a screen where it asks if I contributed to a retirement savings plan, and initially I said yes so now it's on my list of tax breaks. I go to "edit" to change my answer to "no," press done, and it's still on my list of tax breaks. What do i do to remove it from the list?

If the Retirement Savings Contributions Credit is in error, you may delete the Form 8880:

  • Continue working on your return in TurboTax Online. (If your return isn't open, you'll need to sign in and click Take me to my return.)
  • Click My Account (top right of your screen).
  • Select Tools.
  • In the pop-up window, select Delete a form.
  • In the Review Form List, scroll down and click Delete next to Form 8880 and follow the onscreen instructions.
