If I live in Missouri but receive a state pension from Arizona, is the pension considered ‘public’ or ‘private’?

If the pension is from an Arizona state or local government, it's considered public (for examples, teachers, law enforcement officers, firefighters, etc.)

Employees who work for companies are covered by private pension plans.
