If I have multiple 1099-R distributions, TTX does not add them together

IRS 1040 instructions says on p. 27 under "More than one distribution" to enter total taxable in 4b and total in 4a.  TTX is not doing that.  Why?

TurboTax does add similar 1099-Rs. together.

Please clarify what you are referring to.

Did you check what is posted on your 1040?

 

  1. On the menu bar on the left that shows.
    1. My Info
    2. Federal
    3. State
    4. Review
    5. File
  2. Select Tax Tools
  3. On the drop-down select Tools
  4. On the popup menu
  5. Select View Tax Summary
  6. On the left sidebar

Select Preview my 1040

 

What is showing in 4a & 5a?

Does this account for all of your 1099-Rs?
