If an IRA investment account received a 480.6c form, is it necessary to file this form or is it informational? My assumption is no need to report foreign income in IRA?

Form 480.6C is intended for non-residents of Puerto Rico. It covers investment income that has been subject to Puerto Rico source withholding. This form is for information only.

If these forms are in relation to your Traditional or Roth IRAs, please note that any income within your IRA accounts is not reportable.

No action is necessary.
