I was advised 1099's will not be sent to those who received the MN Frontline Workers payment in 2022 but that it still needs to be reported. Where do I enter this amount?

1099's wont be sent because the amount is less than $600 but the payment is taxable federally. Im unsure of where Im supppsed to enter this and turbotax doesnt ask if we received a payment like this as Im going through the filing process.

The Minnesota (MN) Frontline Worker Pay can be entered as follows on your federal return:

Go to the Wages and Income  section of TurboTax

  1. Scroll to  Less Common Income > Select  Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C
  2. Select Other reportable Income > Enter a description (MN Frontline) and the amount

It is not taxable on the MN state return. Follow the prompts in the state return section to ensure that it's not included in state income.
