I supported my mother who passed away in 2019. She has zero income. How can I claim the money I spent on the agency for home care for my mom?

During her last month, I spent hundreds of dollars in care fees to arrange a self care agency to take care of her. In TurboTax Premium 2019, she is not listed in the dropdown under "Deduction and Credits" - page titled "Whose care did you pay for?"  She has no SSI or any other benefits

She has to be listed on your return to show up in the drop-down list.  So go back through the Personal Info section and add information when you come to the question about people you supported.  Your parent does not have to live with you to qualify as a dependent.  If you itemize, you can also deduct medical expenses spent on your dependents in excess of 7.5% of your adjusted gross income.  I am very sorry for your loss...
