I selected direct debit with a date if withdrawal on 4/15/2023 but the withdrawal didn't take place. Is there a waiting period? Should I be worried?

It’s not unusual for the debit to be delayed.

No, you should not be worried.  It takes a day or two for the IRS systems to process at this time. Continue to watch your bank account, you should be fine.
