I received unemployment benefits and didn't receive any tax forms do I have to wait for the 1099-G to finish my return?

The 2023 Form 1099-G is required to be entered on your tax return.  It is taxable income on a 2023 federal tax return.

Your state should be sending you the Form 1099-G in the mail sometime in January or early February.

Or you can go to your state tax website and search to see if the Form 1099-G will be available to you online.
