I received a 1099-K that has my wife's first name and my social security. It should be under my name and social. How can I correct this?

We are filing jointly but I am not sure if that matters, everything else is correct on the 1099-K just the first name is wrong.

As long as you are filing Jointly, it should not matter.

The program may make you change the name to yours so that the Social Security Number matches the name.

The IRS will look for the 1099-K to be reported on the return which has your Social Security Number attached to it, and your joint return does that.
