Enter 1099-r in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1099-R

On the screen Did you get a 1099-R in 2020? Click on Yes

On the next screen click on Continue

On the screen Let's import your tax info Click on Change how I enter my form

On the screen How do you want to add your 1099‑R? Click on Type it in myself

I tried what you said and it did not take me to Jump to 1099-R form. And I did not see it anywhere.

Please email me the weblink to the page where I can file out the payments.

Please reply to [email address removed].

I do not see my old yahoo email anywhere on my account.

To enter, edit or delete a form 1099-R -

  • Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
  • Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
  • Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
  • Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
  • On IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R), click the start or update button

Is there a way I can file these with out going to my bank? I don't like going to my bank with TurboTax

I have the 3 Form 1099-Rs. I can enter the information myself.

Yes, I gave you the instructions for entering them manually if you are using the TurboTax online editions.

On the screen Did you get a 1099-R in 2020? Click on Yes

On the next screen click on Continue

I'm sorry But, When I click on Search button at the top of the page, a search portion opens on the right side,

I typed in 1099-R and it takes me to a bunch of questions. I don't see "1099-R in 2020".

Is it doing this because I am using the Free TurboTax?

I am only filing these because I received Money from when my brother passed away. These are from the CHP union. They told me I have to file tax on these and that they were notify the IRS. I don't want to pay for these to be entered.

You need to look in the income section of TurboTax.  Try these menu options:

  1. Income and expenses
  2. Retirement Plans and Social Security
  3. IRA, 401(k), Pension Plans (1099-R)
