I receive a pension from my ex-husband as part of our divorce settlement. I know that he pays taxes on the full amount of the pension. Do I need to claim it?

It depends. If you did NOT receive a form 1099R in your name that reports a distribution then you will NOT have any income to report in the retirement income section of Turbo Tax. However, if the divorce decree identifies your portion of the pension as alimony and your ex spouse claims a deduction for this income as alimony on his tax return, then you would need to claim this income on your return, as alimony.
