All retirement accounts use the same 1099R for IRA and Pensions.  Is it asking if you took the RMD for it?  Say the whole amount is the RMD.  Anything the military pension pays you is considered to be the RMD.   Pension will go on 1040 line 5a and 5b.  IRAs go on 1040 line 4.
