"I make a RAD from my IRA this year. The form 1099R correctly shows 21K withdrawal (block 1), and 7K taxable (block 2a). However, TurboTax shows all 21K as income. Why?

14K was from post tax contributions. That should not be shown as income. Is there an error in the program or is the 14K subtracted out somewhere else?

On the income summary screen, TurboTax does show the entire amount as income but based on the Box 2a entry, it is not taxable (You will see it on the Line 16a and 16b of the 1040).
