I made a $6500 nondeductible contribution to my IRA, then I converted this nondeductible IRA to a Roth. Its not reporting it correctly in turbotax

I made a $6500 nondeductible contribution to my IRA, then I converted this nondeductible IRA to a Roth. Its not being reporting it correctly Turbo tax states "You are not eligible to make a contribution to your Roth..."

I have A 1099R for the $6500 Distribution, and a 5498 indicating $6500 Roth IRA conversion. How do I get Turbo Tax to handle this correctly?

See the step by step instructions below.

Based on the message 'you are not eligible to make a contribution to your Roth...' it sounds as if you entered the Roth contribution in the IRA contribution section.  That is not correct.  Entering the Form 1099-R effectively takes care of the Roth portion of the transaction.
