Probably not.  Your total itemized deductions would have to be greater than the Standard Deduction for your filing status to have any tax benefit.

Standard deductions for 2023

Single - $13,850 add $1,850 if age 65 or older
Married Filing Separately - $13,850 add $1,500 if age 65 or older
Married Filing Jointly - $27,700 add $1,500 for each spouse age 65 or older
Head of Household - $20,800 add $1,850 if age 65 or older

If you did not have enough itemized deductions to exceed your standard deduction of $13,850 then itemized deductions have no effect on your refund or tax due.     And..you say you had Social Security and a part-time job.  Was any tax withheld from the SS or by the employer for the job?  Is there an amount in box 2 or box 17 of your W-2?
