I'm having difficulty figuring out where to add my additional income from a fellowship grant. I was told it is taxable and should be reported, how do I do so?

I am a single independent in graduate school

You can report it in Miscellaneous Income if it is taxable.   Search for other reportable income and use the jump to link.   It is in the last section of Miscellaneous Income under Less Common Income in the Deductions & Credits section.   The jump to link will take you right to the entry screen.

Use fellowship grant as the description and enter the amount.   TurboTax will report the income as Other Income on Schedule 1.
