I'm being told that the social on my w-2 does not match the social on the federal worksheet, yet the number on my W-2 is accurate, so I don't know how to fix this.

Sounds like there is a mismatch between what you entered in Personal Info and what you entered on your W-2.  Go to Personal Info and verify your ssn.    Then, go to Federal Taxes/Wages and Income and verify your ssn entry here.  Step through the instructions until you reach the end of this section.  This should do it.
